Key Account Manager

Hammeken Cellars are selecting a Key Account Manager for their Export markets

We are a modern Spanish wine company established for more than 25 years and we would be ready to welcome a KAM in order to develop and take care of our existing customers in the following markets Belgium, Germany, UK, Luxembourg, France, Italy, Southern Half of the US.

Starting immediately.

You will have to prospect on those assigned markets in order to grow, develop our sales, but also to help and support our external agents to achieve jointly revenue objectives.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for reaching budget and KPIs.
  • Together with the sales director, develops a strategic plan to maximize the distribution of our portfolio in assigned countries Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, UK, Southern USA, by finding, most suitable distributors, agents, for each territory.
  • In collaboration with marketing department, develops specific market communications, POS, marketing activities, etc. to grow our sales in assigned territories.
  • Conducts analyses and manages data in order to support business cases and determines, along with the sales Director, the most strategic placement for each brand in each territory.
  • Works close to importers and agents in order to ensure that the company’s brand strategy is translated to marketplace activities that can drive sales and profits.
  • Works in market with importers/agents to visit key accounts and provides appropriate brand/portfolio training to their sales team.
  • Develops strong relationships and communication with brand managers in assigned territories.
  • Takes full accountability and is fully responsible for assigned accounts.
  • Monthly sales/depletion reports and forecasts done through our CRM system Salesforce.
  • Arranges, coordinates and guide his/her customers in visits to Spain.
  • Collaborates in customer fairs and promotions on location.


  • Overnight travel, weekend work may be required.
  • Ability to travel internationally a minimum of 20% of the time.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Sales experience in wine minimum 3 years
  • High level of English, and fluent in Spanish.
  • Good wine tasting knowledge
  • University study completed
