Account Director

Chelsea Co, Digital Marketing Agency based in Barcelona and specialists in wine and spirit brands is looking for a hands-on Account Director to help lead Chelsea Co into its next stage of growth.

We’re fast-paced storytellers working with wine, spirits and lifestyle brands that want to move differently. We challenge the status quo, turn brand stories into digital ecosystems, and take the world of wine and spirits from the shelf, to online, to the table and back again.

This role is for someone who loves clients, understands great creative work, and knows how to bring strategy, people, timelines and commercial reality together. You’ll lead client services, support the team, shape account growth and help make sure our work is clear, ambitious and brilliantly delivered.

You’ll work closely with the Founder & CEO, Finance & Operations and our Content Director, helping us build the structure we need as we grow without losing the energy, pace and personality that make us Chelsea Co.

You’ll join initially on a part-time basis, with the intention to move into a full-time role within 3–6 months as the agency scales and the role expands.

This is not a role for someone who wants to sit above the work. We need someone senior enough to lead the room, practical enough to get into the details, and curious enough to enjoy the conversations that happen over a long lunch, a great glass of wine, and a big idea about what a brand could become.

What you’ll do

  • Strong account leadership experience within a creative, digital, marketing, social or brand agency environment.
  • Confident senior client communication skills, with the ability to build trust, lead strategic conversations and communicate comfortably in both English and Spanish.
  • A strong understanding of how great client work gets delivered, from strategy and creative through to content, social, paid media and campaign execution.
  • Commercial awareness, including scope, budgets, margins, resourcing and how to turn client needs into clear, valuable and profitable work.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with experience managing, coaching or developing account, project or delivery teams in a fast-moving agency environment.
